Overview
I created two video assets for Black Ambition—Pharrell Williams’ organization founded to close opportunity and wealth gaps for Black and Latinx entrepreneurs. The videos supported the Year 3 HBCU Prize competition and captured the So Ambitious HBCU Tour, a multi-campus event series for student founders.
The Work
For the HBCU Prize promo, I combined kinetic typography, brand-forward color, and motion graphics to communicate eligibility, supported industries, and prize opportunities, with energetic pacing optimized for social, email, and presentation use. For the So Ambitious Tour recap, I edited still photography from campuses nationwide into a beat-synced, music-driven montage in Premiere Pro, unifying the imagery through color correction and grading to convey the tour’s energy and student engagement.
Outcome
The promo served as a flexible asset across social, email, and live presentations to support awareness and applications, while the recap translated the campus tour’s in-person energy into a shareable digital story—reinforcing Black Ambition’s cultural relevance and mission.
