Overview

CHIVALRY is a conceptual editorial brand I created to explore modern femininity through strength, discipline, and emotional resilience. It reinterprets traditional chivalry through a contemporary lens, centering women as self-defined heroes. The core theme, “Soft Chic | Strong Heart,” juxtaposes elegance with ferocity, drawing on medieval armor, athleticism, and high-fashion editorial design to reframe strength as self-mastery rather than aggression.

The Work

I designed the cover to blend athletic styling with symbolic armor, using warm, grounded tones and confident composition for a premium, timeless feel. Strong editorial typography anchors the layout, while headlines such as “Unleash Your Power” and “Train with Ferocity, Live with Grace” frame fitness as identity-driven. Though presented as a cover, I built the identity as a flexible system extendable across spreads, social, and brand extensions.

Outcome

The project showcases my approach to brand world-building and editorial storytelling—how concept, art direction, typography, and imagery combine into an emotionally resonant brand experience.
