Overview
Christine Glover spent years producing large trade shows at Freeman before going freelance as an event planner in Orange County. She works selectively, with brands, associations, and nonprofits, so the site needed to read like her: calm, precise, and personal, and clean enough that it never looked templated or AI-made.
The Build
I designed and built a custom single-page site on Cloudflare Pages that moves from introduction to services to booking in one scroll. Visitors can book a discovery call through an inline Cal.com calendar or send an inquiry through a form that lands in her Google Workspace inbox, protected by Turnstile. Behind it sits a custom editor at /edit, behind a secure sign-in, so Christine can update her own copy and photos, with a version history that shows exactly what changed.
Craft & Detail
The details carry the brand:
- Her palette, applied with restraint: a soft blush gradient hero with no photo, by her choice, lit by one signature fuchsia for every call to action.
- Editorial type: Tenor Sans headlines with Cormorant Garamond body copy and Questrial labels.
- Her own photography: a retouched portrait that pins beside her story, and three service rows for event operations, concierge services, and onsite support.
- Quiet motion: smooth scrolling with soft wipes and staggered blur-in reveals.
Outcome
The site launched in October 2026 with search and social sharing set up, giving Christine a personal, polished home for her business that she can keep current herself, with booking built in from the first scroll.
