Overview

Lisane Basquiat is a Legacy Healing Strategist and the founder of Shaping Freedom®, a method that helps accomplished leaders change the inherited patterns shaping how they lead. Her work runs across signature programs, keynotes and corporate workshops, a podcast, live community events and a shop of tools for reflection. The site had to hold all of it and still feel like walking into her space: warm, personal and unhurried.

The Build

I built the site in Astro on Cloudflare Pages, so it's fast everywhere and inexpensive to run. The shop is a headless Shopify store rendered inside the site, so products sit in the same editorial design as everything else. Keystatic gives Lisane an editor she can use to update pages herself, and GitHub Actions pull new YouTube episodes and Shopify events into the site three times a day, so the podcast and the calendar keep themselves current.

Craft & Detail

The details carry her voice:

  • Script and serif pairing: a handwritten accent line on every headline brings her personal tone into a clean editorial layout.
  • The Shaping Legacy Model: her framework becomes an interactive dial, where hovering or focusing each part reveals what it means.
  • Scroll storytelling: pinned scenes on the homepage turn her philosophy into a series of beats rather than a block of text.
  • Live community: the next event surfaces with a countdown and a single registration action.

Outcome

The result is one home for a growing practice, where programs, speaking, the podcast, events and the shop each have a clear path. The parts that change weekly update on their own, and the rest is in Lisane's hands.
