Overview
For the Genesis “Daring in Every Way That Counts” campaign, I created the animated hero for the marketing email. The work expressed Genesis’s challenger mindset—bold without being loud—through restraint, motion, and premium craft rather than flash.
The Work
I built a cinemagraph-style animation in After Effects: the vehicle’s wheel stayed in motion while the rest of the scene held static, introducing movement with restraint. I optimized it for inbox environments across major email clients, holding visual clarity within strict file-size limits and ensuring a seamless loop that drew attention without overwhelming the layout.
Outcome
The animated hero became the focal point of the email, engaging viewers while reinforcing Genesis’s daring yet composed identity—balancing creativity with technical precision.
