Overview

I designed and animated a Spanish-language HTML5 banner supporting Hyundai’s Tucson 2017 clearance event, aimed at reaching Spanish-speaking audiences with culturally relevant creative during a key sales window.

The Work

I paired bold typography with bright, seasonal color and fluid motion. The headline—“Más divertido que un día de playa” (“More fun than a day at the beach”)—set a playful, aspirational tone while reinforcing the Tucson’s versatility and value. I used:

  • Smooth transitions to grab attention quickly
  • Summery visual cues to reinforce the seasonal message
  • A clear CTA that stood out without interrupting the flow

I calibrated pacing for high-traffic placements with attention to mobile. The Spanish copy and visuals were written to resonate authentically with Hispanic audiences while holding to Hyundai’s brand standards.

Outcome

The banner supported the seasonal clearance campaign with engaging, culturally targeted creative optimized for paid digital media, helping raise visibility and engagement among Spanish-speaking consumers during a critical promotional period.
